Audrey had a blast today! She started off with a special student round table discussion with senior White House leadership about women and girls in STEM – Audrey was one of only 11 students invited to participate. You probably know that March 14 (3/14) is known as Pi Day, to honor the number that equals the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. Without pi, mathematicians, scientists, and engineers would be lost and without pie, we think the world would be a much sadder place. So how can chemists celebrate Pi Day?
